Historic Kirtland Village - Design Village is honored to make floorcloths for the home of a woman who lived in Ohio in the 1830s. Her mother-in-law lived with her for a time until her family built a new home for their parents, and they moved next door. The mother-in-law made a living painting oilcloth floor coverings from 1813 to 1827 and she may have provided floor coverings in the home.
